Despite the widespread research on energy piles, there remain critical knowledge gaps in cross-sectional thermal responses of concrete piles. This paper implements a unique approach by developing and validating numerical model with temperatures strains measured field-scale pile (diameter = 0.6 m length 10 m), strengthening reliability modelling for The was used to investigate influences inlet fluid temperature, soil conductivity, elastic modulus, expansion coefficient, presence nearby at centre-to-centre distance 3.5 an pile.
